In memory of a dear Christian friend. I spent a lot of time in the early 90's working with John in Romania where he helped provide much needed facilities in children's orphanages. I was honoured to be counted as one of his close friends, so his passing will leave an immense void in my life. I will cherish the last day I saw John on his 90th birthday, only two weeks ago when my wife and I called to see him in Burleigh Hill House Nursing Home where he received such tender, loving care from all the staff. He may be gone but certainly not forgotten.
